New marriage, new blog
She Said: Here we are, three months into our marriage and we decide to start blogging together. This could be a recipe for disaster. But, marriage is an adventure, and it's good for us to try new things as a couple. And so we enter the blogosphere as husband and wife...
So what's this blog going to be about? Well, we're still figuring that out ourselves. Mostly, we'll be writing about our lives as newlyweds. You'll get our perspectives on life as we adjust to living as a married couple.
A little about us:
We have one of those "love at first sight" stories. It's truly disgusting to some, but we understand. We've been there, too. Within one year, we met, moved in together and got married. We just knew from the first moment that we were meant to be together. It was kind of fun, albeit stressful at times, to try and hide our relationship from our coworkers. Some would say we didn't do a very good job. But how do you hide the fact that you're head over heels in love with the person you sit next to every day? (I've since been promoted and moved to a different department.)
I'm 29. I've never been married before, but I've gotten close. My dating style has been to go from one long term relationship to the next. I'm sort of a commitment addict. I think I was searching for my husband in each of my relationships, only to be disappointed in the real man who revealed himself to me after a number of years. When I met Tony, I knew my search was over. So did he.
He's 35, and I'm his second wife. (Believe me, I've had my share of freak-out moments over that.) I'm not sure why anyone would divorce such a great guy, but I'm certainly glad she did. An affair with a married man is just too sordid for me.
We don't have kids, but we do have pets. They keep us entertained. You'll probably get to know them well, since I suspect they'll provide us with blog fodder from time to time. We're currently attempting to train ourselves and our dog using Dog Whisperer techniques. We also have three cats with very different personalities. (Or is it felinalities? Catinalities?) Training them proved futile, so we stopped trying. We, however, have been well trained to cater to their every want and need.
I hope you'll enjoy our little blog. Please feel free to leave us your comments. We've set up an email to field your questions and blog topics. Please send your messages to hesaid_shesaidblog@yahoo.com. We won't respond to you by email, but we'll address as many of your messages as possible here on our blog. We can't guarantee we'll get to them all, but we'll sure try.
He said: O.K. O.K., I know what you're thinking. Why the heck are you blogging with your wife? Our therapist said that we should do things together. She blogged at her desk and me at mine, so weren't actually together but we'll cover that at our next session.
Alright let me be serious now. When we talked about expanding our blog section, I threw a crazy idea about my soon-to-be wife and I doing one. "It could be like a he said, she said thing." We were just spit balling and I didn't even think anyone heard it. A few months later we get hit up to write it by The Great Vaunted Wizard (at least that what he likes to be called so for the sake of the first blog...there ya go Wiz).
So here's the deal. We work together, we live together & now we blog together. Of course my buddies have a betting pool going on and the over/under is sitting at around 22 days. I can sway it a little if I'm getting a piece of the action (hey Tim Donaghy, ya listnin'?)
So we'll try to come up with interesting topics likeSports, Beer & Porn and go from there. Please feel free to weigh in and leave your comments or questions. If some of you folks are having a hard time figuring out your partners... let us take a crack at it. By the way, who says that guys never get the last word.

Nice, that's a good idea, but be warned, get too personal and the whole world sees. . .
