Dell Sucks...BIG Time

I am beyond torked tonight. My friggin' laptop, barely three months out of the shop, crashed again. I hate Dell. Let me tell you that one more time, just in case you couldn't hear me screaming at the top of my lungs inside your head:

I HATE DELL!!!

The laptop is two years old and I paid a pretty penny to make sure it was outfitted well. It is absolutely ridiculous that the piece o' crap melted down on me again. I dunno what I'm going to do with it but a sledgehammer sounds mighty nice.

Seriously, the month of March has sucked so bad. I sure hope it picks up. I've some how angered Karma and she's been an absolute biotch to me. Geesh.

Repeat after me. "We will never again buy Dell!!!"

This is how the last few years have been for me! I don't know which Karma god I ticked off but enough all ready! Maybe the fact that you got a laptop with all the fancy stuff is the problem, next time go for the basic model, less to break! I have been looking into a laptop lately but have no clue what I am looking at or what half of the stuff is. We use our computer for emails, onine shopping, watching baseball games, occasional word documents and storing pictures. I don't need a super computer but they sure try to get you to add it all. A couple years ago I spent tons of money and bought the faniest mattress I could get... I hated it from about the 3rd day. Now I believe in basics...

I am sorry about your bad experience with Dell. I hope it gets better for you soon. I have purchased 3 of my computers from them and only one has ever been a probelm. My laptop that I purchased from them broke down just after the 1 year warranty. I called Dell and they not only offered to fix it for free outside of the warranty, they sent a guy out to my house the very next day. I was so impressed by thier speed of service and by allowing me to use a warranty that was outdated, I felt I had to say something on thier behalf. I wish you the best on your laptop adventure.

First things first delete all the porn of the lappy

Dell does suck. My comp is under warranty and everytime that I call my call is routed to INDIA!!! So, I trouble shoot the problems and it is recommended that I allow them to replace the motherboard for a problem that they never fixed in replacing the motherboard before. So I say fine. THEY NEVER ASSIGN A TECHNICIAN TO THE CASE AND MY PART IS SENT B A C K!! and thats after over a week of calling, inquiring and getting the runaround. So, now we are approaching 2 1/2 weeks and comp is still broke. I call the recommended fixing the motherboard that was replace. HELLOOOOOO, it was never installed but they can't seem to get it through their thick heads. So, I'm told that they will replace the motherboard and heat sinc. But THEY NEVER call me back to give me the dispatch number. So, for the 10th time (remember: i've paid for this protection) I call and I get a operator. This operator tries to sell me the NEW package which is an additional 200 hundred dollars for the opportunity to talk to an AMERICAN in NORTH AMERICA!! because I express my dissatisfaction with speaking with people that don't really understand me and I don't really understand them. The operator tells me to BEG money from relative and friends to pay for the service because that is the only way that I'm going to speak with an american. What the F**cK!!!! I am going to write a letter to american headquarters and file a written complaint on the service that I have received.

Can anybody help me with my problem? I bought a Dell
laptop last May 08. Since I got it, it regularly shuts
down and goes to the blue screen of death. I contacted
Dell almost immediately and was told that they would be
able to fix it "100%". Since I had confidence in their
abilities at the time, I patiently went along with their
updates, restores, replacements, etc. Finally, 10 months
later, I said enough and asked for another computer.
They informed me that I could only get a "refurbished"
computer. No one is interested in helping and there is
definitely no customer relations to go to. Any suggestions?
I was basically told to take the refurbished
computer or they would close my case.

I have the entire corporate directory from Dell and have found my issues get resolved fast when I blow up phones of Senior Vice Presidents. Gimme a holler and I can get you in touch with Dell-America as long as it is legit 8)

When you have a problem with your dell..which you will if you do not buy an extended warrenty..call the corporate office. They can tell you 100 reasons why you are at fault and they have a fabulous product. Unfortunately this lack of responsibility in the quality of production of their systems is driving the consumers to buy a Mac..

I am now a complete mac convert and will never buy a dell again. If you want the run around or to not speak to india..call below.

This is the response you will receive.

Your account has been brought to my attention and I very much would like to speak with you.

They will then let you know that you are needing to spend more money on a new system...so buy MAC

Yep, Dell does seem to have some pretty crappy looking computers. But that doesn't mean that they aren't good. A computer is a computer. One thing I like about them is that they supply Ubuntu on some. Ubuntu ftw!!

Hi i am having problems getting dell to replace my power addapter, only contacted them about 2000 times can anyone give me the number of a manager who can help or an executive in america?

Thanks jonathan

P.S can you please e-mail me at jonathanmckinney@sky.com
