Spur of Fury
I had to risk life and limb today, in order to get my daily photo. This is one of my roosters and he tends to be a little on the angry side. I don't know why seeing how I give him food, shelter, and seven different ladies to choose from. It seems like any man would be happy with that but not this fellow.
The original face of anger:
The spur of fury and death. It feels especially uncomfortable when inserted into your calf muscle. The follow-up tetanus shot doesn't feel too nice either. Just ask Grandma D.

Incredible clarity and richness!
But, I was raised in the country and inserting a spur into Grandma would probably result in chicken for dinner.

I would've thought that would result in FRIED CHICKEN for dinner.. lol At least thats the threat around these parts.. What type of Roosters/Hens do you own?? We are thinking about owning a few ourselves, just don't know what type yet.

Thanks Kim! Jen - we have barred rock, rhode island red, and some sex link. Definately try and get your hens from someone who has already sexed them and knows what they're doing. You really don't want roosters.

You don't understand why is is upset?
You gave him seven females. One is enough for most of us and sometimes we have trouble with one. Geez woman.
LOL
