NKOTB: Please Don't Go Girl! Ok...I Won't!!!
Hubby thinks I have officially lost it but I don't care. New Kids on the Block have reunited and I'm going to see them in concert - in Vegas to top it all off!!! My girlfriends and I are going to be hitting refresh on the 'ole keyboard first thing Saturday morning when the tickets become available online...I'm...so...ex...cited!!!!!!!!
In case you didn't know, I was their #1 fan back in the day of pegged pants and Aqua Net and I'm sure Donnie will remember me from the Exclamation scented letters I sent him by the dozen. Sure, he's married now and has a super receding hairline, but like I said in my counter, I'm going to preach polygamy and beg him to take me as a sister-wife. Hubby's all for it as long as I get a pre-nup and I'm sure my kids will love having a bonus dad. It's a win-win for everyone.
My girlfriends and I have the weekend planned to a "T"; NKOTB tramp stamp tattoos, new matching satin MILF embroidered panties and bras (ready to be thrown at our special NKOTB'er), and a coupla other things I won't mention in case we got any copycats lurkin' around the board. I know that Donnie is waiting for me but I'm not sure my girlfriends (sorry Dina and Sandra) are as secure in their belief that Joey is waiting for one of them. That's gonna be an ugly fight...

I AM SO THERE with you guys!! Sandra called me today and told me the plan...I got so excited, I squealed and screamed. Larry came rushing to the back room to see what the ruckus was about. When I told him, he blinked, rolled his eyes and then turned around and walked away. I asked him, "Does that mean I can go?"

Why isn't anyone telling you their favorite memories? I remember Jenny H having every NKOTB poster on her walls, and she even had the tour jacket! It was totally AWWEEEESOME!

You know, I bet that crowd will be full of screaming 30 year old women reliving their past. I told Taterbub about it and she's totally peeved that she can't go. I introduced her to their music and she loved it. Although, she thinks they're kinda old.

Yeah, Susan got my ticket last weekend... I'm so excited I could scream. All I can say is if the San Jose show happens before the Vegas show (I haven't checked the dates), I'm SO taking Joey before you girlfriends have any chance. He's mine!!!!!!
Fave memory (and my mom's pretty good at tellin' it, too):
Mom took me to see the New Kids in 1990 (I was 10) with my best friend and her mom. My best friend and I both totally loved Joey, so at some point, after the boys had gotten the crowd to stop screaming, she and I was going to yell "I love you, Joey!!!!" at the top of our lungs... together.
In short, she ditched me, so I yelled it all on my own. And the crowd went crazy again. I like to think I made that happen.

joey is the best new kids on the block member without a doubt. Joey one handly put them on the map with there first hit"Please dont go girl". Jordan is a great act, but hes nowhere near joy's level of performance.Joey should have been the lead singer for step by step also. Joey has the best voice also.Dude hes the best.

your right joey is the best member of nkotb . I dont know why jordan was the lead singer,he was a great perfomer but joey single handely put them on the map. Joey is also one of the greater perfomers of the 80"s not just nkotb. Please dont go girl was their best hit .Everyone loves that song.

I just saw the guys last night in Cleveland, Oh...they were awesome! I couldn't believe how many fans are still out there, I thought I was the only NKOTB physco fan left. Joey was always my fav...and I just knew that we would get married some day, lol. They are all super hot and for anyone who thinks these guys are to old to perform. HA they still have the moves! So ladies ( who have not seen the show yet and have tix) prepare yourselves for a a fun night filled with screaming, crazy fans! Have Fun!!
