It is too bad the ER did much of what you're doing first. But you did it way better.

So far so good. It does clearly spank the ER site. I suppose anything does as thier site is a mess, but you have givin them quite a whoopin'.

I am having trouble commenting on state issues. Also it would be nice to have national news, and then comments on such. The 'on the record' is great. Like an old town square ridiculing.

Regarding Topix, I like that it shows new posts, but they are only for threads that I have previously posted on. Is there an option that I can simply see all new posts in the whole TS forum since my last log on?

If I have any other feedback I will try to get it to you.

Nice site, but what does it take to get one's blog on your list of Humboldt blogs? I've sent you links to our blog twice.

Overall an excellent job and everything seems to work. However there are a lot of nooks and crannies to poke around in, and it is too soon to declare it "bug free".

About the only thing I find annoying is the constantly changing ads like the one from Cher-Ae Heights with the spinning slot machine wheels. They are distracting.

Cities associated with comments are wrong. What up with that?

The new site is a big improvement. I had hoped the background color on the blogs would be changed to something lighter. It displays as a very dark blue which I find difficult to read.

I would appreciate an indication of what will be in the next days paper.

It's a little odd to have James Faulk's now-defunct Bully Pulpit column (as opposed to the blog) listed on the opinion page. It's even stranger that the long-static column enjoys a higher position on the page than the oft-changing Other Voices section.

Unless you plan to resurrect the column (which hasn't been updated since July) it should be removed from the opinion page.

One other observation. Why aren't T-S editorials listed on the Opinion page? On the main page it's listed under the "Opinion" heading, but if you click the heading you land on a page that omits T-S editorials.

The new design is a huge improvement, thank you.

So nice to see the ER still getting under your skin like that, James. It's practically out of business, and you're still defensive. Awesome.

Heard , Greg DeBacker's neighbor say that crazy DeBacker has commited himself to a mental institution . She said he was picking imaginary bugs off his legs while in his underwear in the rain at night in his underwear behind his ugly green shack at 904 M Street . Always thought this guy was a lunatic after his " Petch House " article .

Mr. Greg DeBacker is indeed a LUNATIC . After reading his negative comments & B.S. about , Jerry Droz......he clearly is a total nut case . Mr. Droz has done a lot of good work for out County . If it were'nt for Jerry , Mr. DeBacker would probally living next to some drug dealers .
